Consigning at Pixie Dust
Pixie Dust operates as a 50-50% consignment shop. We price the item, display it, and then split the sale price with you. Your share of all sales will be available to you as a check every quarter (January, April, July, October). Account balances of under $5 will roll over to the next quarter. Unclaimed checks will be forfeited after 6 months. You may provide Pixie Dust with self-addressed, stamped envelopes, if you would like your checks mailed to you; otherwise they must be picked up in the store.
Pixie Dust accepts the following items in excellent condition:
· clothing (boys & girls, 0-3m to 16; maternity S-XL)
o tops and bottoms
o sleepwear
o swimwear (in season)
o outerwear
o fancy dress
o dress up/costumes
· shoes (infants, toddlers, children)
· accessories, including belts, ties, hats, purses, bags, and jewelry
· children’s bedding (bassinette, crib, twin sizes)
· nursery and kids’ room décor
· baby gear, as display space permits (strollers, highchairs, cribs- unassembled)
· toys, puzzles, and games (if electronic, working batteries must be included)
· books (board, picture, elementary school levels, parenting)
· DVDs (G, PG, PG-13)
Items for consignment can be delivered to Pixie Dust during store hours. Please call ahead if you are bringing large items, to make sure we have room! We will sort your items and decide what to keep in the store. You may choose to pick up any non-salable items or have us donate them locally.
Pixie Dust reserves the right to discount items as needed. Unsold items may be donated to charity after one full season of display. You are responsible for contacting the store and selecting any items from the salesfloor that you would like back in your possession after the season is complete. Pixie Dust is unable to assume responsibility for items lost due to fire, theft, vandalism, water damage, or consumer abuse.
