Summer Sale & Fall Findings!
Greetings from Pixie Dust!
Our BIG summer sale is on and fall clothes are making their debut this weekend! ALL summer clothing and accessories are 25-50% off (including maternity). Shop now for warm weather clothes for this year (we’ve got lots of sunny days left) or shop ahead for next summer. Back-to-school clothes have started arriving- we have jeans, long sleeves, and sweaters in every size and more coming in each day. Currently, our most expansive fall offerings are in girls sizes 12m - 4 years and 14/16, and boys sizes 18m-5 years.
First Friday August: Beach Party!
This Friday (8/7), we’ll be open 12-9. Stop in during Main Street’s beach party- including sandcastle-making and beach volleyball- to decorate a sunvisor!

a selection of ballet and tap shoes for under $10. If your little dancer’s feet have grown since her last tap class, come check our selection before buying new! We have leotards and dance skirts in toddler sizes through 14/16, as well.
Interested in Consigning?
We are now taking fall consignments! We are (as always) short on space, so please only bring in washed, neatly folded or hung fall clothing- we’ll be ready for winter coats and Halloween costumes in another month! We’ve found that in infant sizes (newborn - 12 months), outfits sell well- but separates do not. Please leave random pants or onsies at home or plan to donate them! You do not need to make an appointment to bring in items; please drop them off in a container that you do not need returned. Call Allison with questions about consigning: 301-788-7851.
Community Help Opportunity
It’s that time of year again, school supply shopping! With the economy, more and more families will be turning to the BEACON for supplies for their children. If you’re able to pick up anything, (every bit counts!) please either drop items off at the CASS building or in any of the local churches. If you can’t get there, please email Beth at (kbjohnson_1@comcast.net) or call (301) 712-4137 and we’ll find a way to get them.
Items Needed: crayons (24 count), glue sticks, colored pencils, No 2 pencils, safety scissors (blunt tip), highlighters, blue and black pens, folders (different colors), index cards, zipper pencil pouches or pencil box, erasers, spiral notebooks, compasses and protractors, red checking pencils, composition books, wide ruled notebook paper and loose lead paper. If you would rather make a monetary doantion for supplies, please make your check payable to BEACON and in the memo line denote “school supplies”.
Supplies must be donated by August 9th for distribution on August 17th at the Brunswick City Park. Please pass this info on to other neighbors that may be willing to help!
