September 1st Friday & New Items

Greetings from Pixie Dust! 

This weekend is Brunswick’s First Friday celebration; the theme is The Great Outdoors.  We’ll be open until 9pm, and local photographer Christopher Vigliotti will join us for complimentary child portraits.   Samples of his work are in previous posts.  

This weekend only, we will close at 3:00 on Saturday (a certain Pixie Dust daughter is turning 4, and we can’t miss the party!).  As always, we can open the store by appointment- just call or email for a time!

We are thrilled to have two more local artists showcase their work at Pixie Dust:

 Lollipop Lane custom hair bows and accessories are made in Poolesville, Maryland.  We have a gorgeous selection of clippies, bows, pony streamers, and headbands in the store, and we can take custom orders for sports teams, cheer squads, birthday parties, etc. 

  Bedelia Dolls are handmade in Frederick, Maryland from scrap quilting fabric.  They are washable and non-breakable, both decorative and practical.  They can be custom made with remnants from your child’s outgrown clothes and blankies- a one-of-a-kind heirloom.  Bedelia’s creator also makes mini-dolls and crotched bibs and booties, perfect for christening or special occasions.
